Thomas Falk (Berlin, 1968), is a choreographer/director, dramaturge, teacher, artistic advisor and performer, working and creating in the field of dance and circus.
Based in the Netherlands, where he lives since 1991, he has had an extensive career as a dancer and performer for many companies and choreographers during the last 30 years, being active throughout Europe. Next to his performing career, he is an “outside eye“ for makers and performers since 1998, in versatile roles of rehearsal director, dramaturge or co-creator. As an independent director-choreographer, he has made pieces throughout his career for multiple occasions. His works range from dance choreographies, site-specific work, group creations with circus artists in combination with dance, to solo work.
Working on a collaborative basis is at the heart of his approach.
Since 2011 Thomas is involved and immersed in Circus. At Codarts Circus Arts Rotterdam, he is a teacher in contemporary dance, artistic coach for creation & composition and has also been internship coordinator. He has directed numerous group productions for Codarts 1st years students, incorporating circus, live music & dance, and created many other one-off events for and with students.
He actively engages himself in the Dutch Circus field through workgroups and coalitions.

Currently, Thomas works as coordinator at Codarts Circus Arts Rotterdam.
